ICLA /Washington, DC Metro Area

Urgent deadline: MDK12 Maryland Libraries only

If you are already a participant, you should have received some forms to complete in order to continue with this program. They were most likely mailed to your school administrator or Principal; check with him or her. The forms are time sensitive. If your administrative office can not locate the mailing, go to the following website for a listing of the public school representatives for your county. For forms and deadlines go to:

http://www.mcps.k12.md.us/departments/media/mdk12/steering.htm

You need to agree to the following in order to participate:
  • agree to purchase the SIRS database (the complete line of components for a ridiculously low price)
  • you will not negotiate for lower prices with any of the Vendors represented in the MDK12 Digital Library. (For most of the non-public schools, that is a given, as we would never get the prices that the MDK12 Digital Library has established working as a state-wide consortium. )
  • send a purchase order to SIRS(ProQuest) by September and fill out contact information etc.

More information about the MDK12 Digital Library can be found at
